Ok, first things first. I’ve been a wedding & event planner for the past ten years so let’s just say, I know my way around a ceremony!

Having witnessed first hand around 900 civil (registrar/legal) wedding ceremonies in my 10 years as a wedding planner and then one day seeing a celebrant led wedding ceremony, I had a real light bulb moment. Wow, this is what a wedding ceremony should be! Fun and funny and endearing and sometimes downright emotional! With no restrictions like not being allowed to have Luke Jackman’s Hallelujah played because it has religiousy bits.

I was a radio presenter in Ireland in a former life so am totally comfortable writing scripts and public speaking.

Oh yes, I’m Irish, which comes with an accent. It’s a nice one though, I promise….
